1. Local file processing and requirements

Selected file contents are inspected and processed locally in your browser. UploadsBuddy does not send file contents to an application server or store them on an UploadsBuddy server. Requirements you enter are used in your current page session unless you choose to save a requirement profile in browser storage.

2. Browser storage and cookies

UploadsBuddy uses browser local storage for preferences such as your selected color theme and for requirement profiles you explicitly save. Saved profiles contain the profile name and requirement details, not your uploaded files. You can remove these items through your browser’s site-data or storage settings.

Local storage is separate from browser cookies. Google Analytics 4 runs when pages load and may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and site usage. Optional Google Translate may also use its own cookies or browser storage.

3. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Z9LLLM8GM7), which loads when you visit a page. It sends Google usage information such as page views and browser or device information to measure how the website is used. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics. 4. Advertising and third-party vendors

UploadsBuddy does not currently serve advertisements, and Google AdSense is not configured on this website. If advertising is enabled in the future, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. This policy will be updated to describe any advertising services before they are enabled.

5. Third-party services and hosting

Page translation is optional. Google Translate is loaded when you open the Translate menu; if you select a language, visible page text is sent to Google for translation. The hosting provider necessarily serves the website and may process ordinary request and security information, such as IP address, browser details, referring page, and request time, under its own policies. Exact logging, retention, and use depend on the hosting provider. UploadsBuddy does not control the provider’s infrastructure logs. This website has no application account system or file-upload endpoint.

6. Children’s privacy

UploadsBuddy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The site does not provide child accounts or intentionally request children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request.

7. Your choices and policy updates

You can clear saved theme preferences and requirement profiles through your browser’s site-data settings. This policy may be updated when the website’s features or data practices change. The effective date above indicates when this version took effect.
