Why upload forms set this rule
Profile forms and identity workflows often require a square image box. A rectangular source needs a crop or padding choice; resizing alone cannot make it square without changing how the image is framed.
How the file is processed
The planner compares the inspected source dimensions with the requested dimensions. It adds a crop only when the aspect ratio requires one, asks for review before cropping image content, and then resizes to the exact requested pixel dimensions.
Validation before download
After each transformation, the generated file is inspected again. Final validation checks the actual output dimensions and any other requirements you entered before marking it ready.
Privacy
Files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. The original is not overwritten. Canvas-based output may omit embedded metadata.
Frequently asked questions
Will the tool crop my image automatically?
A crop is included only when the requested aspect ratio needs it. The interface marks that the crop changes framing and requires your review before it runs.
Does 600 × 600 guarantee that a visa portal will accept the photo?
No. Pixel dimensions are only one possible rule. Portals may also specify size, file type, background, face placement, or other requirements.
Can I also set a maximum file size?
Yes. Add the maximum shown by your destination form; the output must pass both dimensions and size validation.
