Requirement to check

Use the rules from your destination portal

Use the exact limit and format from the destination upload form. This guide does not replace or invent portal-specific rules.

Why upload forms set this rule

Two visa workflows can ask for different pixel dimensions, aspect ratios, file sizes, and formats. A generic preset could cause a rejection, so start with the wording supplied by your application portal.

How the file is processed

Enter or paste the portal’s technical requirements and select your photo. The planner will identify only the transformations needed for supported rules. Any crop that changes framing is presented for review before it runs.

Validation before download

The final file is inspected again and checked against each supported rule you entered. The result covers those technical checks only; it cannot confirm identity-photo composition rules that the tool does not measure.

Privacy

Files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. The tool does not persistently store your photo. It does not make legal or government acceptance claims.

Frequently asked questions

What is the standard visa photo size?

There is no single size that applies to every visa form. Check the instructions for the specific destination and application, then enter those values.

Does passing file checks mean the photo will be accepted?

No. This tool checks supported technical file rules. It does not certify that a photo meets biometric, composition, or government acceptance criteria.
